Something bad that happened to my grandpa

Heres what happened: My grandpa had a friend from world war 2.His name was Jim and he has a summer house in east hampton near montauk.So he invited me and my grandpa to east hampton and montauk.I got a sooveneer or however you spell it.Also me and my grandpa got ice cream.And the sooveneer I got was a ship in a bottle. So heres where the bad part came in: We were about to leave,but there were theses steps we have have to walk up to get to the parking lot. My grandpa is slower than me and Jim,so we turn around to see hes following us and didnt get lost or something.So Jim saw my grandpa face down on the middle step and he was bleeding like MAD. I guess it was because he got 2 scrapes in the part of the head where if you get a cut you bleed a ton. Thank God my grandpa didnt pass out from losing lots of blood cuz that would be even weirder.So someone called the ambalunce but idk who cuz it wasnt me or Jim and grandpa told me to call my cousin not the ambulince with his cell phone cuz mine was at home.So I ran to the ice cream place and took almost all nthe napkins then someone got a tee shirt and we put those on grandpas head to help stop the bleeding.Then the ambulince got there and put bandages on him.Then they took him to South Hampton hospitol.Me and Jim went there too.He was out in four and a half hours witch was kinda fast cuz it was the ER and grandpa got 2 cuts on his head,one on his elbow,and a bone chip in his elbow so he has to wear one of those thing that you put your arm in and straps go around your neck to hold it up.Btw when the ambulince got there and asked him what happened to see if he damaged his brain when he fell and he said that he lost his balance and fell into the little wall near the steps then he was KOed for a couple of seconds cuz he was only five feet behind Jim and it took him like 2 seconds to get there and me 2 and when we got there grandpa was awake.
